The terms governing the sale of wine and the services provided by the Vinum Vivo winery.

1.Operator
The Vinum Vivo winery is operated, and wine is sold, by H2G, s.r.o., registered office at Čierne Kľačany 387, 953 05 Čierne Kľačany, Slovak Republic. The winery and its estate are located at Nevidzany č. 271, 951 62 Nevidzany.

2.Introductory provisions
These general terms and conditions (the “Terms”) govern the rights and obligations between the seller and the buyer in the sale of wine, in the provision of accommodation, event and wellness services, and in the organisation of tastings.
By submitting an order the buyer confirms that they have read and agree to these Terms. Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic.
3.Orders and formation of contract
Wines can be added to a cart on this website. Submitting the cart composes an e-mail containing the order, which the buyer sends from their own e-mail client to info@vinumvivo.sk. An order constitutes a proposal to conclude a contract.
The contract is concluded only once the seller confirms the order by e-mail or telephone, confirming availability, the final price and the method of collection.
Accommodation and event bookings are concluded individually on the basis of an enquiry and a written booking confirmation.
4.Prices and payment
Wine prices shown on this website are final and include VAT. The seller reserves the right to change prices; the price confirmed in the order is binding for the buyer.
Payment is made by the methods agreed when the order is confirmed — in cash or by card on collection, or by bank transfer against a proforma invoice.
5.Delivery and collection
The preferred method of collection is in person at the winery, Nevidzany č. 271, at a time agreed in advance.
If the parties agree on shipping, the terms, cost and delivery date are agreed individually when the order is confirmed.
6.Sale of alcoholic beverages
The sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under 18 years of age is prohibited. By submitting an order the buyer confirms that they are at least 18 years old.
The seller is entitled to verify the buyer's age on handover and to refuse to release the goods to a person who cannot prove they have reached the legally required age.
7.Withdrawal from the contract
Where a contract has been concluded at a distance, a consumer has the right to withdraw within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason, in accordance with Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on consumer protection, as amended.
Withdrawal must be notified in writing to info@vinumvivo.sk. The goods must be returned undamaged, unopened and in their original packaging. The cost of returning the goods is borne by the consumer.
For services (accommodation, events, tastings) provided on an agreed date, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the extent permitted by law for leisure services; cancellation terms are set out in the booking confirmation.
8.Liability for defects and complaints
The procedure for making and handling a complaint is set out in detail in the Complaints Policy, which forms part of these Terms and is available on this website.
9.Alternative dispute resolution
A consumer has the right to ask the seller for redress. If the seller rejects the request or fails to respond within 30 days, the consumer has the right to submit a proposal for alternative dispute resolution.
The competent body is the Slovak Trade Inspection Authority (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia), Inspectorate for the Nitra Region, or another authorised entity listed by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic.
10.Final provisions
The seller reserves the right to amend these Terms. The version in force at the time an order is submitted applies to that order.
These Terms take effect on the date of their publication at vinumvivo.sk.
